When Hell Freezes Over

In my rear view mirror the sun is going down.  It’s sinking behind a mountain in the distance.  The last sun light disappears.  A cold breeze fills the atmosphere.   
Somehow…  Hell freezes over.  Laughter echoes in the distance.  As everyone once dreamed, today,  The Earth is in tune.   
With the sweet the bitter fades,  With courage; all doubts subside.  No one’s screaming through the  Starlit sky.  Children’s laughter and  The sound of music in my ears.   
Fire bright by candle light,  Midnight is turning gold,  The silver moon is growing co

Waiting For My Life To BeginLately, I’ve been feeling somewhat lost.  It’s like somebody  Turned off all the lights and  
Left me in complete darkness.   
I look up at the sky and  It seems cloudy,  My vision of the road  
Is just blurry.   
I keep looking for clues and  Signs that tell me  
That what I am doing is right.   
Everything around me is moving  While I stand in the middle watching.  It’s like my life has been on hold.   
I keep praying and waiting  
For something or someone  To come and guide,  To take me to where I am supposed to be at.

SurvivalThe storm has drenched me,  The strong waves pulled into the ocean  Nearly making me drown.  
 
The strong winds pushed me  To the side of the cliff,  I looked down at the bottom from there,  Somehow I held on.  I didn’t fall.   
I’ve been lifted up…  To higher planes,  I was then released  In a free fall that made me  Loose control,  Hitting the ground was  Tough.   
The coldness froze me,  The heat absorbed my strength.  The suffocation  Disoriented me.  I witnessed myself fall to pieces.  I later picked them up.

Dirty looks are exchanged among people  When walking by,  Insults are said,  For no reason at all,  Haven’t you heard?  It’s a battle of words.  People are misjudged without  
Even knowing anything about each other.   
Black, white and yellow.  Are they just colors? And  At the end of the day,  Aren’t we all people?   
Why not accept someone  Who is from some other part o Ordinary Men
